HONESDALE, PA — Honesdale Borough officials have announced that the contractor completing the temporary fix rerouting the stormwater on Vine and Terrace Streets, Honesdale, has begun work. The temporary work involves the installation of new 48” storm pipe. The project work area includes Vine Street, Terrace Street and 4th Street.
The public is advised to expect lane closures and traffic delays. Officials are asking the travelling public to find alternate routes to their destination. The project duration is expected for several weeks. The 5th Street pedestrian bridge may be closed for safety precautions when the work is in that vicinity.
