President Donald J. Trump has endorsed Congressman Rob Bresnahan (R) for re-election in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, praising him as a strong conservative leader and successful businessman who is fighting to create jobs, cut taxes, stop wasteful spending, secure the border and protect the Second Amendment.

“I am honored to have earned the support of President Trump and am proud to partner with him to advance an agenda that puts the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania first,” said Bresnahan. “I look forward to working with the president to continue fighting for a stronger economy, affordable energy and a secure border with safer communities.”

“President Trump won this district by nearly 10 points because voters here rejected the policies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that Paige Cognetti embraces with open arms,” said Peter Brath, Bresnahan’s campaign manager. “The people of Northeastern Pennsylvania deserve a representative who will fight for them, not the far-left extremists who have taken over the Democrat Party.”
