LIVINGSTON MANOR and ROSCOE, NY — The opening weekend celebration for the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM) will be happening on Saturday, April 4. We start the day with “Meet your Maker” Bamboo Rod Casting at the Roscoe school in the Rockland Central School District, at 9 a.m.
Then head back to the CFFCM to enjoy a bowl of Agnes’s Famous Soup and watch Phil Street tie up some Catskill classics on the vise. Admission is free for all and the Livingston Manor Chamber will be hosting its Trout About Town Scavenger Hunt as well.
Our seasonal hours also start. Beginning in April, we will be open Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!

Our spring calendar is filling up; check it out at cffcm.com/eventscalendar. The Saturday Tying Series, sponsored by the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild (CFTG), has a full lineup of fly tyers. Tying runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Note that we do not host Saturday Tyers on the same days of CFTG meetings.)
We also have some new, exciting events on our schedule for spring, including A Night with Chip Stauffer and The Fly Tyers Rendezvous.
It’s the final call for Hall Of Fame nominations. Email your nominations to HOFSubmittal@cffcm.com. Nominations must be received by midnight on Wednesday, April 15 to be considered for the 2026 Hall of Fame. If you send us a nomination by mail, it must be postmarked by April 15.
Tickets for our annual dinner are now on sale and about 50 percent have been sold already. Join us on June 6 as we welcome the 2026 class of Catskill Legends, enjoy a wonderful meal at The Rockland House and take a part of our exciting live and silent auctions.
