Town hall meeting to hear constituents’ ideas?

Posted

On March 25, I looked forward to a phone town hall meeting with Rep. Robert Bresnahan (Pike County), as his representatives told me he wanted to hear his constituents’ ideas. Respectfully listening to other people’s concerns, I started to sense scripted questions and answers. After hearing Rep. Bresnahan speak with a police officer, I thought I would add a question that had bothered me. Trump said that if he was elected, the January 6 people would be looked at case by case and not all would be released. I was able to give a lackey my question, “Well, what about the guy with the shield and lance, the guy who attacked the White House and now is free in our community?” Of course, my concern was not heard and my freedom of speech not accounted for at all and the meeting abruptly ended.

So, this is what I would say to the “Representative.”

I get it, you don’t want to hear from your constituents. We pay your salary and elected you. You are afraid of Trump. Do you know who Ray Cohn is? He taught Trump and his father to delay, delay, delay and never pay.

National security is at risk as we have inexperienced people with negative personal habits working for us. Forget the cuts to the FDA. Maybe you don’t care about the future of children. Let’s frack up the earth and take what we can now. Let’s make soccer players who were tortured in other countries disappear. Even Nazis had records of who and where people were sent. Musk is unvetted, yet he controls our government. Let’s allow three innocent children (age seven through 13, siblings) get to court without legal aid because they “can” defend themselves.

All this has led to our national security being unbelievably compromised more than ever before by inexperienced Trump butt kissers who are more loyal to him than the Constitution and rule of law.
