For more than 10 years, I had the honor and privilege of working alongside some of the best that law enforcement had to offer in Orange and Sullivan counties, and in Pike County, PA.  One such individual is Tim Dymond, a retired investigator for the New York State Police, who deserves more than your consideration for Sullivan County sheriff. He deserves your support and your vote. 

As a parent, wife, and former prosecutor, I support Tim in his campaign to improve Sullivan County and enact change. Why? Tim’s a dedicated and trustworthy individual. His whole career was built on fighting crime and improving our lives. He did it by putting in countless hours on the job. Hours of behind-the-scenes work, like the wiretap leading up to a large-scale drug raid in Sullivan when I served as a Sullivan County prosecutor. There he helped build a strong case by coordinating surveillance, monitoring calls, gathering evidence and planning the raid itself. His role was instrumental. 

The same is true for other efforts, including one that led to the dismantling of a major narcotics network. Efforts that protected Sullivan County residents from the effects of drug trafficking, among other things, for years on end.

Tim’s reputation speaks for itself, too. Working as a teammate on everything from basic to very complex cases, he’s known for being thorough, fair and relentless in pursuit of justice. Qualities every prosecutor wants in an investigator. Qualities that make Tim the choice for Sullivan County sheriff and leadership as we enter an even more sophisticated era of crime entering our communities. Simply put, he knows the people, the challenges and how to get the job done.
