Sullivan County has an opportunity to make a positive change.  To right so many of the wrongs that have been done.  Tim Dymond will give Sullivan a sheriff who will bring positive change to the culture of the sheriff’s office. 

I have known Tim for the past 10 years and have witnessed his passion for justice and truth during that time.  

I worked for years as a senior caseworker in a specialized child protective unit that works in conjunction with law enforcement.  This unit has been referred to as the “Estrogen Mafia” by the current undersheriff. This is truly disheartening, as it sends a message that women in law enforcement and the female victims they serve are not taken seriously by the leaders sworn to protect them. During my time in the CPS unit,  I worked directly with the state police on a variety of difficult cases. 

Tim has always been a professional and has demonstrated the ability to be assertive when necessary—but also to show compassion.  He was a respected senior investigator in the gang unit in the state police before taking over as the union president for investigators across New York State.  I watched him passionately represent his members, and he was always available for advice if we had a union-related question.  Natural leaders are not easy to find, and Sullivan County has the chance at one on November 4.  I’d implore you to write in Tim Dymond for Sullivan County Sheriff.
