HONESDALE — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court on February 27, 2025:

KARSON MASHATT, age 33, of Tyler Hill, PA was sentenced to no less than 9 months nor more than 54 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Homicide by Vehicle, one count of Involuntary Manslaughter, one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, one count of DUI and one count of Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

AMANDA OROURKE, age of 44, of Waymart, PA was placed on Probation for a period of 60 months on one count of DUI- Highest Rate.

TIMOTHY AVILES, age 32, of Hawley, PA was placed on Probation for a period of 60 months on one count of DUI of Alcohol- Highest Rate, one count of Reckless Driving and one count of Drive at Safe Speed.

TAMMY KNAPP LYONS, age 54, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to no less than 7 days nor more than 12 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Possession of Controlled Substance and one count of DUI- Controlled Substance- Schedule 2 or 3- 1st Offense.

CHARLES FAITHFUL, age 49, of Honesdale, PA was placed on Probation for a period of 12 months on two counts of Receiving Stolen Property.

HEATH WILCOX, age 42, of Dallas, PA was sentenced to no less than 6 months nor more than 24 months incarcerated in a State Correctional Institution on one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and one count of Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Trial, or Punishment.

MICHAEL NEWFIELD, age 38, of Honesdale, PA was placed on Probation for a period of 12 months on one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Public Drunkenness and Similar Misconduct.
