HONESDALE, PA — SEEDS (Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support) has received a $5,000 grant from the PPL Foundation.
SEEDS provides education to the community, and promotes sustainability and resiliency by strengthening the local economy and access to clean energy technologies, food and education through collaborations, networks and information exchange.
The funds will support the organization in its mission.
SEEDS is looking for help in identifying ways it can meet those goals.
In the next few months, SEEDS will develop programs for 2026. It asks readers: What programs have you found that enriched your goals of sustainable living? Do you want to save on your energy use to reduce your carbon footprint and save money? What steps do you need to take to save water every day in your home? Do you need more information on recycling in our area?
