According to the police complaints, on April 30, the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the victim’s home in Lehigh Township after a report of a home invasion and assault. The defendant and another individual, Thomas Hermann, allegedly broke into the residence and attacked the victim.
The victim sustained multiple lacerations to the head from being hit over the head with a kitchen chair. As the Defendants were leaving the residence, they allegedly threw a vacuum cleaner through the kitchen window.
The Defendant was arraigned on May 28 on all above-mentioned charges by the Honorable Judge Bonnie L. Carney. Bail was set at $100,000.00
The Defendant’s next court appearance will be Central Court on June 4 at 9 am in the Wayne County Courthouse.
The filing of criminal charges is not evidence of guilt but simply a description of the charge made by the Commonwealth against a defendant. A charged Defendant is presumed innocent until a jury returns a unanimous finding that the Commonwealth has proven the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt or until the defendant enters a guilty plea to the charges.
