CALLICOON, NY — The Grover M. Hermann Hospital (GMHH) Auxiliary, part of the GMHH Callicoon Division of Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills, recently held a raffle to support the annual Kathleen Moran, RN, Scholarship Fund. 

The fund assists Sullivan West’s 2026 graduates who plan to pursue a career in health care. 

As in 2025, Sullivan West graduates can apply for the $500 scholarship. Three qualifying Sullivan West graduates will be selected.

A raffle winner!

For the 2026 scholarship cycle, auxiliary member Victoria Greffrath created a stunning queen-size bedspread titled “Ocean Blues.” Raffle tickets were sold throughout the community, and we are delighted to announce that the winning ticket belongs to Vincent Alunkonis of Callicoon. Congratulations, Vincent! Our thanks go to all who purchased tickets and to Victoria for her generosity in providing such a beautiful prize.

The auxiliary meets on the third Thursday of each month from March through October at 4 p.m. in the GMHH cafeteria, and by WebEx during the winter months, November through February.
