Rozar for Bethel tax collector

Posted

My name is Julie Rozar, and I am writing to introduce myself as the Democrat and People Over Politics candidate for the Town of Bethel Tax Collector.

I bring 40 years of corporate experience as a business systems analyst (tech specs, quality assurance, user manuals); technical writer (procedures, forms); software trainer (Word, Excel); and process analyst (clarity, efficiency).  I am detail-oriented, collaborative and proactive, and am ready to put these skills to work for the Town of Bethel Tax Office.

Ten years ago, my husband and I moved from Brooklyn to Smallwood; shortly after, we were joined by our cat Mimi—born under our deck and a part of the family since then.

Bethel folks might have met me as a vendor at Bethel Woods, at a Bethel Business Association mixer, at the Bethel Council for the Arts art store in Kauneonga Lake, or walking around the Smallwood lake.

My strict but loving upbringing made me honest, hard-working, dedicated, responsible, persevering and considerate.

Throughout my life—as a former NYC public schools parent volunteer (12 years; organized many events, served as PTA secretary and co-president) and Brooklyn co-op board member (six years; was integral to revising the co-op proprietary lease)—I consistently step up to lead with a helping hand and a true heart.

The people of the Town of Bethel can count on me to greet them with a smile and process their town taxes with integrity, as efficiently and expediently as possible.

I look forward to serving the Bethel community.
