LAKE ARIEL, PA — Registration for the Kate Svitek Summer Camps at Lacawac is officially open.
“We can’t wait to share another unforgettable summer filled with exploration, discovery and outdoor fun,” a Lacawac Sanctuary press release reads. “Our hands-on, nature-based day camps offer meaningful experiences where campers learn, play and grow while connecting with the natural world. Camp sessions fill quickly, so we encourage families to register early to secure their preferred weeks.”
With meandering trails, open fields, lakes and wetlands, campers will embark on hands-on adventures that spark curiosity and creativity, the sanctuary wrote. “Through scientific experiments, environmental observation, thematic games and artistic expression, campers will immerse themselves in a living laboratory—discovering their role in the intricate web of nature.”
Registration for the 2026 summer camp season will close for the 2026 camp season on June 8. No registrations will be accepted after June 8.
More information and registration are available at www.lacawac.org/summer-camps.html.
