REGION — The community is encouraged to enter the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway (UDSB) inaugural photo contest by Sunday, November 1 for a chance to win cash and gift card prizes while contributing to the visual assets of the New York State Route 97 corridor, the UDSB said.
The theme is “Every Mile Tells a Story: Show Us Yours.” Since the contest launched on April 1, more than 60 original-content photos have already been submitted through the online portal at www.udsb.net/photocontest.
There is no cost to participate, and anyone can submit up to three photos showcasing the scenic beauty and array of activities on and off the state-designated byway, which runs from Hancock to Port Jervis and makes the Upper Delaware region such a wonderful place to live, explore and visit, the group continued.
All winners will receive cash prizes as well as $25 gift certificates to local businesses. Selected submissions will also be featured on the UDSB website as well as in a public photo exhibit following completion of renovations at the UDSB Visitor Center at the Callicoon Depot.
The 2026 photo contest rules and guide-lines are posted at www.UDSB.net.
