Pike County Transportation to increase fares

PIKE COUNTY, PA — Pike County Transportation is updating its shared-ride fare structure. The new zone-based fares take effect July 1, 2026. Reduced fares remain available for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Who pays what?

Full Fare: General public riders with no program subsidy. 

Senior 65+ (Shared Ride): Reduced cop-pay for riders age 65 and older, funded through the PA Lottery Shared Ride Program. 

Persons with Disabilities Co-Pay: Reduced co-pay for eligible persons with disabilities. 

Good to know

Fares shown are per one-way trip. 

Reservations are required; please call ahead to schedule your ride. 

The "additional stop" fare applies to each extra stop added to a trip. 

Eligibility for reduced fares is determined at the time of application.
