Pennsylvania State Police investigate road rage incident involving terroristic threats ​

GREENE TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY — The Pennsylvania State Police - Troop R - Blooming Grove is currently investigating a road rage incident that occurred on March 4, 2025, at approximately 3:51 PM on I-84 West in Greene Township, Pike County. ​

The incident involved a 32-year-old male victim from Montoursville, PA, who reported that while driving in the right lane, a white Chevrolet pickup truck swerved into his lane. ​ The victim stated that the operator of the pickup truck was texting at the time. ​ In response, the victim used his vehicle's horn, at which point the operator of the pickup truck allegedly produced a firearm and pointed it toward the victim. ​

The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a white Chevrolet pickup truck. ​ No further details regarding the registration, operator information, or direction of travel are available at this time. ​
