Peck’s Market in Narrowsburg store to be sold

NARROWSBURG, NY — Multiple sources have been saying for weeks that the Peck’s Market in Narrowsburg will be sold, and the closing is scheduled for early in January.

A spokesman for the Naryan Corporation, which owns the convenience store on Route 17B in White Lake, will reportedly purchase the entire mall, which is known as the Peck’s Mall, although Peck’s is reportedly going to retain an office in the mall.

Members of Peck’s management have not responded to requests for comment.

Employees have said they have been assured that the store will continue to be operated as a grocery store, although this has prompted them to ask why this assurance would be needed, since a grocery store would seem to be the best use for the facility.

One source put the cost of the market at $1.6 million.

There were reportedly three possible buyers who expressed interest in the property over the past year.
