Diane T. Van de Velde, a longtime resident of Minisink Ford, NY, and a devoted wife, mother and local community volunteer, passed away on Sunday, August 8, at the age of 69.

Diane was born on July 11, 1952, in Orange, NJ. The daughter of the late Frank and Diane Dougherty, she is survived by her husband Richard and son Sean.

Diane was a past officer and member of the Lackawaxen Township, PA, volunteer fire department, the Pike County Fire Police Association, and the auxiliary unit of the Sylvan Leibla American Legion Post 1363 in the Town of Highland, NY.

At the family’s request, there will be no funeral service.
