Democratic State Senate candidate Michele Frazier recently announced that New York’s 51st State Senate District has officially been designated a battleground race by ElectIndex.

“The people of the 51st District are ready for new leadership that puts rural communities first,” said Frazier. “Families are struggling with rising costs, a shortage of affordable housing, limited access to health care, and a lack of opportunity for young people. Frazier has built her campaign around making New York more affordable by expanding access to quality health care, addressing the housing crisis, lowering everyday costs for working families, and ensuring rural communities receive their fair share of state investment.
