MONTICELLO, NY — “Success rarely happens in isolation,” the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and Industry writes. So all are invited to nominate a business, entrepreneur, leader, organization or community champion “whose achievements demonstrate how connecting people, ideas, investment and opportunity creates a stronger Sullivan County.” The final choices will be honored at the Your Partner for Success annual awards gala. Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, September 2.

The categories include:

Economic Impact Award: The award recognizes a business, project or investment that creates jobs, attracts visitors, strengthens the economy, or lays the foundation for future growth. 

Small Business of the Year: The award celebrates a small business that demonstrates excellence, resilience, exceptional customer service, innovation and meaningful engagement with the Sullivan County community. 

Emerging Leader Award: The award recognizes an entrepreneur or emerging leader whose vision, innovation, determination and leadership are helping shape the future of Sullivan County. 

The Community Champion Award: The award recognizes an individual or organization whose commitment to service, volunteerism, advocacy or community involvement has made Sullivan County a better place to live, work and thrive. 

Partnership Excellence Award: This award recognizes a collaborative effort between businesses, organizations, agencies or community partners that demonstrates the power of working together to solve challenges, create opportunities, and strengthen Sullivan County. 

Resorts World Gives Philanthropic Impact Award: Presented by Resorts World Catskills, the award recognizes extraordinary philanthropic leadership, generosity and community investment that creates meaningful and lasting impact throughout Sullivan County.
