In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
No Kings II will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 18 on the Pike County Courthouse Lawn, 412 Broad St. in Milford, PA. It’s a follow-up to the very successful No Kings Day event (625-plus people), held in the heart of Milford, PA, on June 14.
Now, concerned citizens of NEPA will gather again on October 18 to show solidarity and union. We will stand against the current administration’s wholesale shredding of democratic norms and principles, and abuse of law, to rally concerned citizens in a peaceful, non-violent protest gathering that reflects our country’s glorious history of civil protest.
On this same day, similar events will be conducted in all 50 states of this country in coordinated efforts to draw attention to the rampant trampling of our society’s rights and values.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. All participants are expected to try to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values—and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to No Kings events.
