ELLENVILLE, NY — Ellenville Regional Hospital (ERH) has launched a new urgent care service, available daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The service is for non-emergency medical needs.
It can be found in the Specialty Department of the Neil S. Calman Medical Arts Building, “providing a convenient and trusted setting for patients who require timely care outside of regular office hours,” the hospital said.
Services will include treatment for such conditions as:
Minor injuries such as sprains, cuts and burns
Cold and flu symptoms
Infections such as ear, throat, urinary and on the skin
Allergies and asthma flare-ups
Other common health concerns that need prompt attention
Patients will be seen on a walk-in basis, with no appointment required. All visits will be provided by ERH’s experienced clinical team. Urgent care “offers convenient evening hours that fit into busy schedules and makes it easy to access care close to home,” the hospital said.
Patients are typically seen quickly, with short wait times.
Ellenville Regional Hospital is a nonprofit critical access hospital. Its mission includes serving the health needs of the community with excellence and compassion and providing a range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services with a focus on quality, safety and patient-centered care.
