MILFORD, PA — Milford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is under new ownership and has changed its name to Milford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center (MRHC).
The 80-bed subacute and skilled nursing home provides services that include long- and short-term care and rehabilitation “in an intimate and compassionate environment,” the facility said.
The ownership change was effective earlier this year.
The new owners own skilled nursing facilities and are based in PA.
The facility is built on “reliance, compassion and respect… [where] every resident feels valued, supported and cared for like family,” said administrator Zack Holena.
Milford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is located at 264 Rtes. 209 and 6. The team oversees operations at similar-sized care centers in rural communities in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The facility offers:
Short-term rehabilitation services designed to get patients home safely and in a timely manner;
24-hour skilled nursing care by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurses’ aides;
Patient-specific physical, occupational and speech therapy programs;
Memory care support for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia; and
A renewed focus on customer service, hospitality and a comfortable environment.
Prospective residents and their families can visit the center; call 570/491-4121 or visit www.milfordrhc.com.
