DINGMANS FERRY, PA — For over 50 years, the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) has provided educational programming to schools, Scouts, families and partners.

“The people at PEEC are truly what make the development, delivery and engagement possible when providing this service,” a spokesperson wrote. “Beyond the necessary foundation of the clean and scenic campus, the hearty food and the accommodating customer service, it’s specifically PEEC’s education team that creates the immersive educational experiences that undeniably are what connect people to nature.”

PEEC’s current director of education, Holli Saar, has served since November 2024.

Sinead Roche, currently serving as PEEC’s summer camp manager since March 2025, “has seamlessly integrated every facet of PEEC’s education programs across the five age groups of Summer Day Camp,” PEEC said. “Sinead’s love for camp, her commitment to the growth of PEEC’s educational programs, and desire to support a well-trained, vibrant and enthusiastic education team” were key to receiving the new job.

A position offering for Summer Camp Manager to backfill Sinead’s current position will be posted in the next few weeks, ideally with a replacement hired by November 1.

PEEC is located at 538 Emery Road.
