DEARBORN, MI — Jake Lang, a Narrowsburg, NY native and pardoned January 6 rioter, participated in an anti-Islamic march in Dearborn on Tuesday, November 18, according to published sources.
According to the Detroit Metro Times, Lang waved bacon in the faces of Muslim residents, threatened to burn a Quran and ranted to the Dearborn City Council.
Lang previously spent time under arrest for charges including assaulting law enforcement with a deadly weapon and engaging in physical violence on restricted grounds, charges related to actions he took during the riots on January 6, 2021. President Donald Trump issued a presidential pardon on January 20, 2025, ordering the release of Lang and around 1,500 other involved individuals.
The River Reporter spoke with Lang shortly before his pardon and release; that story, published February 2025, is available here.
