MIDDLETOWN, NY — Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Orange County invites the community to join its annual tradition of the master gardener volunteer bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show.
“Come with us to step into the ‘Gardens of Tomorrow,”’ a press release reads.
The largest and longest running horticultural event in the U.S. for 195 years will take place this year on March 4 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The theme “Gardens of Tomorrow” invites attendees to explore the future through the eyes of visionary designers, expert gardeners and passionate green enthusiasts as they merge “nature’s brilliance with human ingenuity,” according to the press release.
Alongside all the Flower Show elements—such as the world’s biggest plant competition, unique shopping experiences and activities for all ages—attendees will see and hear what the most innovative plant experts from around world think the future of gardening will be through their exhibits at the event’s “Know to Grow” speaker series.
The attendance price of $98 includes round-trip coach bus transportation from the Middletown Galleria to the Philadelphia Convention Center and admission to the show.
The bus will board at 8:45 a.m. at the Galleria in Middletown (Macy’s parking lot, across the street from the Best Buy) and will depart promptly at 9 a.m. and return at 9 p.m.
Registration is available online before February 23 at www.weblink.donorperfect.com/2025PhillyFlowerShow.
CCE noted that this trip typically sells out quickly.
