This is Chris and Jody Gozza urging everyone to vote for Paula Kay to be the next Assemblymember for the 100th Assembly District. 

We first met Paula almost 30 years ago, when she and her family had just moved to Sullivan County. She didn’t waste any time becoming part of the community. While working with Assemblymember Jake Gunther she helped create the Adopt-An-Exit program on Route 17. The program was one of the first of its kind on New York State roads. She knew that Route 17 was important, as many people who drive through Sullivan County shape their view of us from what they see. It was the start of helping to form a good first impression. The signs still exist today.

When Aileen Gunther succeeded her husband Jake and became our Assemblymember, Paula went to Albany as Aileen’s legislative counsel. We bring this up because since Paula got to Sullivan County, she has always been part of our community. She has been helping municipalities and people for nearly three decades and has all the knowledge she needs to help us in Albany today. 

We understand how Albany works and sadly, a Republican in the minority doesn’t have any power to help us. Aileen and Jake brought back tens of millions of dollars to support not-for-profits, roads, emergency service workers and more. We need to continue that tradition.

We have known Paula a long time. She never asks which party you are from when trying to lend her support. When she gets to Albany as our next Assemblymember, we have no doubt that she will continue to work for the residents of Sullivan County as she has done for a very long time. 

It doesn’t matter which party you are from when it comes to voting for your next voice in Albany. We encourage you to let Paula be that voice. Vote for Paula Kay, where she will put people over politics.
