Leaf collection will soon begin in Honesdale on another collection date separate from normal yard waste
collection, the Borough announced. 

Currently, yard waste is collected on Mondays from all residential addresses. It will
continue to be collected if the waste is bundled or containers display the proper signage.

Leaf collection will begin on Thursdays but will be scheduled as follows: October 17, Territory
#4; October 24, Territory #3; October 31, Territory #2; and November 7, Territory #1. Territory
assignments for streets can be found on the Borough’s website, honesdaleborough.com. 

Leaves must be in proper containers, with no plastic bags.
