The Sullivan County Coalition Against Antisemitism tips its collective cap to both John Conway and Assemblywoman Paula Kay for helping the coalition fulfill its mission of engaging the community through education and awareness against antisemitism, intolerance and disrespect.
John Conway’s recent article in the August issue of the Hurleyville Sentinel titled “No Place for Hate” was both informative and well researched. In addition, Assemblywoman Kay was quick to inform the public and commend the Fallsburg Police Department for its swift response to a potentially dangerous situation involving a machete-wielding man waving a manifesto filled with hateful antisemitic language.
It is our hope that continued speaking out from our coalition, journalists and local politicians will help put an end to hateful rhetoric and actions.
