I am a resident of Tusten, NY and was walking my dog one day and the Knights of Columbus man noticed me. He asked another Knight, who was visiting a friend in the neighborhood, to inquire whether I was the woman who goes to church, because he hadn’t seen me for a while. The Knight said yes.

When he saw me go to the house that had a ripped tarp on it, he said to the other that they needed to help me. And help me they did. They replaced my leaky roof with a new metal one. 

This organization, the Knights of Columbus, and these men have hearts of gold and fixed the problem that was there for many years. No one was helping me, even as I approached plenty of organizations, which all said they could not assist me. 

God bless the Knights of Columbus. They are people of the Lord.
