The Sullivan County Coalition Against Antisemitism expressed its outrage at learning that a Hatzalah paramedic was allegedly assaulted while on call responding to a medical emergency after a motor vehicle accident in Loch Sheldrake.
“It is outrageous that a Jewish emergency medical technician could be attacked while working to save lives in the wake of a vehicular accident. We are pleased to learn that law enforcement responded quickly and arrested the alleged perpetrator,” said Steven Sharoff on behalf of the coalition.
“This level of antisemitism and hatred must be recognized and responded to by our local leaders. It has gotten to a level that threatens people’s safety and this must stop.”
