HONESDALE — On January 2, 2025, Andrew Devlin, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to no less than 27 months nor more than 72 months incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility on one count of Aggravated Assault- Bodily Injury/Officer/Employee, Etc., one count of Disorderly Conduct, one count of Criminal Mischief and four counts of Simple Assault.
The first incident stems from May 2, 2024, when the defendant became combative at the Twisted Rail in Honesdale where he slapped, kicked, and spit on individuals and kicked a Honesdale Police Officer in the face.
Then, on June 5, 2024, he encountered two correctional officers walking on Main Street in Honesdale. The defendant then made threats to them before the defendant and the victims went their separate ways.
Finally, on June 6, 2024, the Defendant chased after an individual through the parking lot of Turkey Hill with a machete and made threats as well.
