Kathy Hochul has flip-flopped AGAIN on energy policies—this time doubling down on the natural gas ban that will literally bankrupt New Yorkers.
Hochul desperately did this after withering pressure from the radical left, who own her at this point because her polling is so bad.
Now Hochul is desperately doubling down on banning natural gas, which will skyrocket energy and housing costs, claiming that her lawsuit strengthens the ban.
The governor remains committed to the all-electric-buildings law and believes this action will help the state defend it.
Take it from Hochul’s toughest critics in her own party: ‘The state’s move, while it was done under the cover of litigation, was 100 percent a political move.’ [Amy Turner, director of the Cities Climate Law Initiative at Columbia University’s Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, reported by the Adirondack Explorer.]
“I am the ONLY candidate who will unleash an all-of-the-above energy policy in New York to LOWER energy, utility and housing costs,” GOP candidate for governor Elise Stefanik said.
