LAKE ARIEL, PA — All are invited to hike with a forest specialist at Lacawac Sanctuary at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5.
You’ll be led by a Lacawac environmental educator and a forest specialist from the Wayne County Conservation District. Learn about trees, the local ecosystem, invasive species and more.
The hike will start at the Environmental Education Center, is 0.92 miles in length and has features such as rocks, tree roots and uneven terrain.
There’s no charge to join.
