SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY— The Sullivan County Legislature voted to amend the “Social Host Law” to include cannabis, which allows individuals who provide cannabis to minors (people under age 21) to be held legally responsible. The law has expanded from alcohol and is aimed at preventing underage drinking and drug use and its associated risks by imposing legal responsibilities on hosts.
