WAYMART, PA — On August 14, the Wayne County Community Foundation and the Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) hosted a Collective Impact Forum at Ladore Conference Center.
The event explored ways to address top primary health needs, which were identified through the community health needs assessment sponsored by Wayne Memorial Hospital and Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers.
The findings (prepared by East Stroudsburg University’s Institute for Public Health, Research & Innovation) were discussed.
Existing efforts and gaps in service were also discussed, and topics ranging from access to care to transportation were covered.
Other topics included behavioral health, senior housing, vaccine hesitancy and obesity.
The event was made possible through a generous grant from the William E. Chatlos Foundation.
