LACKAWAXEN, PA — GAIT Equine Assisted Services will hold its 30th anniversary celebration on Sunday, June 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Inn at Lackawaxen, 188 Scenic Dr.

For three decades, GAIT has provided equine-assisted services to children, adults, Veterans and families throughout the region through therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, mental health programming and community partnerships.

Founded in 1995, GAIT is now a PATH International Premier Accredited Center serving individuals across northeastern Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Its stated mission is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with special needs through equine activities and therapies resulting in a more independent life in society

The event also coincides with the national celebration surrounding America’s 250th anniversary and the “Year of the Horse.”

Funds raised during the event will directly support GAIT’s horses, therapeutic programs, Veterans’ initiatives, at-risk youth services and operational sustainability.

“We are incredibly proud of the legacy that has been built over the last 30 years,” said Eva Warner. “This celebration is about honoring everyone who has been part of GAIT’s story, our participants, volunteers, staff, horses, donors and community partners, while also building the future of what comes next.”

Tickets, sponsorship opportunities and additional event information are available at www.gaittrc.networkforgood.com/events/99184-gait-s-30th-anniversary-celebration.
