GAIT earns reaccreditation

MILFORD, PA — GAIT Equine Assisted Services once again earned the designation of Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.).

GAIT pairs individuals with special needs and others with certified professionals and equines “to achieve health, wellness and learning goals,” the organization said. By earning the accreditation, GAIT demonstrates “it is operating in accordance with nearly 200 PATH Intl. standards for the equine-assisted services (EAS) industry.”

Out of the more than 760 PATH Intl. member centers, only 250 are accredited, which has to be re-earned every five years. (Learn more about PATH Intl. at www.pathintl.org/certification/ctri.)

“PATH Intl. Accreditation is internationally recognized within the equine-assisted services industry as a commitment to safety and the highest level of professional standards in the management and operation of an equine facility and equine-assisted services,” said PATH Intl. CEO Kevin Price.
