HONESDALE, PA — The Greater Honesdale Partnership (GHP) invites the community to join us for our August Third Thursday: Free Art Walk – Shop Honesdale, beginning Thursday, August 21st and running through Sunday, August 23rd. This family-friendly event combines shopping local with hands-on creativity, offering a unique way to experience Downtown Honesdale.

As you shop, you’ll get the chance to create your very own “Honesdale-Themed Art Mat”—a fun and interactive project designed for all ages! Simply stop into any of the 10 participating stores to collect materials and colorful letters to fill your mat as you continue shopping. Once your masterpiece is complete, snap a photo and share it for a chance to win a fun prize!

This is a free, family-friendly event designed to celebrate the joy of art, community, and shopping local. Whether you’re visiting your favorite shop, dining downtown, or discovering a new store, the Art Walk is the perfect way to connect with Honesdale while supporting small businesses.

To find the list of participating stores, visit VisitHonesdalePA.com/events or call the GHP office at 570/493-5492 for details on where to start.
