FALLSBURG — On March 15, 2026, Fallsburg Police conducted a traffic stop on Hasbrouck A Road in Loch Sheldrake for a vehicle and traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, patrol officers discovered that a female passenger, identified as 47-year-old Lisa Williams, was in possession of a controlled substance that was identified as crack cocaine.
Lisa Williams was taken into police custody and was charged with the felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree. Lisa Williams was then released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court at a later date.
Criminal charges are merely allegations that a defendant has committed violations of the criminal law, and as such they are not evidence of guilt. All defendants have a presumption of innocence and are entitled to a fair trial, during which it will be the burden of the State of New York to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
