WESTFALL TOWNSHIP, PA — On March 7, at approximately 11:38 p.m., Trooper Thomas Rehberg and Trooper John Sempa conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on Route 6 and 209, Westfall Township, Pike County, PA. Throughout the investigation, numerous indicators of criminal activity were present.
A consent search of the vehicle yielded a large amount of marijuana/THC products and a large amount of U.S. currency. These items were seized.
The arrestee—Robert Cahill, 54, of Fishkill, NY—displayed numerous signs of impairment. SFST's were conducted and the arrestee was discovered to be under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody and transported to PSP Blooming Grove for processing He was then transported to Pike County Correctional Facility.
Cahill was charged with possession with intent to deliver, drug possession, drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A preliminary arraignment took place and bail was set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 25, 2025.
