FALLSBURG — On June 29, 2025, at 11:52pm, Fallsburg Police received a report at that a vehicle had been struck with eggs while it was parked on State Route 42 in South Fallsburg. It was reported that the eggs were thrown from a moving vehicle that was traveling towards Woodbourne on State Route 42. Shortly after, police received a second report of an unknown substance, later identified as eggs, being thrown from a vehicle at pedestrians on State Route 42 in Woodbourne.
Fallsburg Police Detectives and Officers began an investigation into the reported matter and upon securing surveillance footage of the incident, police were quickly able to identify the suspect vehicle involved and discovered that eggs had been thrown at vehicles and signs along State Route 42 from the Town of Thompson to Woodbourne.
Following further police investigation, Fallsburg Police identified three suspects involved in the incident from Napanoch, New York: 22-year-old Jessica Hoek, 21-year-old Ryan Hoek and 18-year-old Steele Dolan. All suspects involved were arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor, and Harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation. Arraignments were held in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Schein man and the defendants are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Criminal charges are merely allegations that a defendant has committed violations of the criminal law, and as such they are not evidence of guilt. All defendants have a presumption of innocence and are entitled to a fair trial, during which it will be the burden of the State of New York to prove guilt beyond a reason
