DiNapoli endorses Frazier for state senate

Posted

Michele Frazier, candidate for New York’s 51st State Senate District, announced that she has earned the endorsement of New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.

“Her experiences in higher education, real estate, and public service have driven her dedication to finding practical solutions, ensuring government transparency, and advocating for working families,” DiNapoli said. “I am proud to support her candidacy.”

Frazier said the endorsement reflects what she hears across the district: People want a government that listens to rural communities and follows through.

“Tom DiNapoli understands that taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes and whether it’s making their lives better,” Frazier said. “Families here are facing higher bills, a shortage of housing they can afford, and long drives to get the care they need. I’m grateful for his support, and I’ll bring that same focus on accountability and practical results to the State Senate.”

Frazier grew up in her family’s Oneonta greenhouse business and served on the Oneonta City Council. She is a former criminal justice professor and works in local real estate.

The 51st District includes all of Delaware, Otsego, Schoharie and Sullivan counties and parts of Broome, Chenango and Ulster counties.
