WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Antonio Delgado issued a statement regarding the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock festival.
“This weekend marks the 50th anniversary of a music festival and historical event unlike any other. I join in welcoming tourists from across the country to experience the beauty and camaraderie Sullivan County and Upstate New York have to offer.” Delgado continued, “On this historic anniversary, let us reflect on the unifying power of music and a weekend of peace and love. I thank the Sullivan County officials who have worked for months to ensure this anniversary is a safe and enjoyable event for all.”
