On May 16, 2026, Fallsburg Police conducted a traffic stop in South Fallsburg where the operator, identified as 47-year-old Keegan Dolan, was operating a motor vehicle that was reported stolen while having a suspended license. Following a police investigation, it was discovered that Keegan Dolan was wanted in the state of Delaware for a theft of property, which included the vehicle he was operating and wrist watches that were located by police inside of the vehicle.
Keegan Dolan was taken into police custody where he was charged with the felonies of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, along with the misdemeanor of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree. Mr. Dolan was also charged with being a fugitive from justice, due to the active out of state warrant. Keegan Dolan was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Scheinman and was remanded to the custody of the Sullivan County Jail. Mr. Dolan is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Criminal charges are merely allegations that a defendant has committed violations of the criminal law, and as such they are not evidence of guilt. All defendants have a presumption of innocence and are entitled to a fair trial, during which it will be the burden of the State of New York to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
