SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Sullivan County District Attorney Brian P. Conaty announced the hiring of Jade Corelli to the position of District Attorney’s Crime Victim Specialist Coordinator. This position is an integral part of this Office’s commitment to supporting victims and their families throughout the criminal justice process, according to the office.

Corelli will serve as a direct resource for those impacted by crime by providing guidance, emotional support, and assistance in navigating the court system. Corelli will also help connect victims to vital services such as counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, and restitution resources. She will work closely with prosecutors, law enforcement, and community organizations to ensure that victims’ rights are protected and their needs met.

Prior to joining the Office, Corelli earned her degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Sunderland. Additionally, Corelli has specialized education focused on victim trauma and has participated in a trauma based apprenticeship under the supervision of certified therapeutic trauma providers.

Conaty said: “Justice is not only about holding offenders accountable – it’s also about making sure victims have a voice and the support they deserve. This Office is committed to standing with victims at every stage of their journey, and the addition of Jade Corelli as our Crime Victim Specialist Coordinator strengthens that promise. No victim should feel alone in seeking justice. By investing in dedicated victim services, we are reaffirming our commitment to compassion, accountability, and public safety.”
