Scranton mayor and candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District Paige Cognetti announced that her campaign raised nearly $2.5 million in the third quarter of 2026—without accepting a single cent from corporate PACs.
This fundraising haul follows an impressive Q2 where Paige raised over $2 million, demonstrating a growing momentum behind her toss-up race against vulnerable Congressman Rob Bresnahan.
In addition to her strong fundraising, Paige has earned the support of 18 unions and labor groups representing workers across northeastern Pennsylvania, including the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in PA; it represents 700,000 workers across the commonwealth.
Paige has spent the last decade serving northeastern Pennsylvanians. She’s taken on special interests and her own party to lower costs, clean up corruption, and keep her community safe.
