CCE Sullivan responds to food insecurity

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Donning masks and gloves, Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Sullivan County Program Managers Martin Colavito and Thomas Bosket, in partnership with Sullivan Allies Leading Together (SALT), area school districts, the County’s Emergency Community Assistance Center and others, are  sweeping the county in the CCE Sullivan Fresh Market-on-the-Move van delivering much-needed food, hygiene products and hope.

With funding from the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Lions Clubs, Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther, the Skoda family, Brey’s Eggs and more, SALT delivers more than 2,000 meals each week through the Sullivan Fresh Market-on-the-Move.

For urgent help, contact the Sullivan County Emergency Community Assistance Center at 845/807-0925. Callers with health questions or concerns should call the Sullivan County Public Health Services’ hotline at 845/292-5910.
