HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance (WPWA) announced the promotion of Cassandra “Cassie” Miller to director of workforce development.
The promotion reflects Miller’s “outstanding leadership, steadfast dedication and the meaningful contributions she has made to WPWA’s mission,” a press release reads.
“Cassie’s promotion is a testament to her passion for helping others, her strategic mindset, and her deep commitment to our mission,” said Katheryne Hait, executive director of WPWA. “Her leadership has been vital in expanding our workforce development programs and building impactful partnerships that strengthen the communities we serve.”
In her new role, Miller will lead the strategic direction and implementation of PA CareerLink® workforce development services, with a focus on broadening access to training opportunities, career pathways and employer engagement across a wide range of industries.
The stated mission of the Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance is to empower individuals and strengthen communities by fostering career exploration, lifelong learning and economic advancement.
