LIBERTY, NY — Casa Di Longobardi will hold an Open House and Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, May 31 at 3 p.m. Customers old and new can enjoy FREE food tastings from the menu and conversations with the owners about the café's plans. 

There will be no food ordering or purchasing available during this event, as owners Castrese and Lori Longobardi want to spend quality time connecting with their customers, the business said. 

The official opening for regular service will take place the following week. 

"I am excited to be opening in the community again. I have missed my customers, whom I consider family," said Castrese Longobardi. Lori Longobardi added, "We are thrilled that our customers are welcoming us back. Our hearts are full of gratitude that they have not forgotten us. We are starting small and ask for customers' patience as we grow and expand our food offerings and Italian imports. We are also in the process of obtaining our wine and beer license." 

Casa Di Longobardi Café, Italian Imports, and Catering offers a twist on authentic Italian cuisine and pastries. The café will have food available to go, as well as café-style meals and pastries. Catering and large takeout orders will also be offered with 24-48 hours’ notice.

Hours of operation will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hours and days are subject to increase. 

The restaurant is located at 15 Sullivan Ave. in the Liberty Mall.
