PITTSTON, PA — Congressman Rob Bresnahan today announced that his campaign raised almost $600,000 in the third quarter of 2025, bringing his total for the cycle to more than $2.4 million heading into the 2026 midterm election.
“I appreciate the support our campaign continues to receive across Northeast Pennsylvania,” said Bresnahan. “I am committed to standing up to the far-left mob that has hijacked the Democratic Party and continues to push extreme policies like disarming and defunding our police, giving taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal immigrants, and forcing woke ideology on our communities.”
For context, after the third quarter of Congressman Matt Cartwright’s last off-year fundraising report, he had raised $1.8 million cycle to date.
The nonpartisan Cook Political Report currently rates Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District as Lean Republican.
